Capital Community College is offering our 7th annual Summer Computer Science Program for middle school students aged 12-16 who are residents of Hartford or East Hartford, CT. The Summer Computer Science Program provides a stimulating, active, and fun learning environment for students to explore and learn computer science through hands-on activities.
Capital’s Summer 2020 Computer Science Program is a two-week program scheduled for:

The program will be held virtually in Summer 2020 due to the COVID 19.
Two Sessions are being held:
Session 1: Mon – Friday 9am – 12pm
Session 2: Mon – Friday 1pm – 4pm
Session 1: Mon – Friday 9am – 12pm
Session 2: Mon – Friday 1pm – 4pm
Students can only participate in one two-week session.
Throughout the program students will develop and build computational thinking and problem-solving skills through completing computer science activities and labs. Students will complete activities independently and collaborate virtually with peers on team projects.
