Hello and welcome to the Summer!!! If you're not there yet stay strong! Our chapter has been busy reflecting on our performance this year, completed self-assessments, and are starting to formulate our goals for next year. We've reviewed the feedback you've provided National on how our Chapter has met or is on the path to meeting your needs. We're happy to see that you feel your voices are heard! If you would like to look at the data the results are below!
Our comparison spreadsheet of major questions from last year to this year.
We also need to review ourselves against the Chapter Rubric! Here's a quick summary of how we rated ourselves this year in comparison to last year.
Overall we feel we're doing great in some areas and there is room for improvement in others. We would like to invest into more opportunities for mentorship, networking, and PD next year as a part of our goals. Further we want to ensure YOU can find a way to contribute to CT CSTA in whatever way you feel comfortable.
As always if there is something we can do for you, or something you'd like to do for your chapter don't hesitate to reach out to anyone on our Board and Advisors page.

A call to action!
Convince Governor Lamont to endorse the Computer Science Education Initiative. (Letter writing)
We have the chance to encourage Governor Ned Lamont to join Governors of other States in promoting K-12 computer science education. Governor Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas is the current chair of the National Governors Association (NGA). Through his NGA Chairman’s Initiative, K-12 Computer Science Education, Gov. Hutchinson is promoting K-12 computer science education.
In order for us to have a chance at Governor Lamont to endorse the initiative we will need to reach out to him via a letter writing (physical or electronic) campaign.
